Cartoons That Never Saw The Light of Day
Over the years, I have also enjoyed a secondary career as illustrator and graphic artist/cartoonist. At one point, I decided to try my hand at a syndicated strip. I put two different ones together and sent them off to all of the big syndicates...but alas, they were entirely lacking in taste (and I suppose they wanted to actually make money or something!) so, they sent them back.

And now by popular demand (of a small cadre of elite, yet oh so hip people of high intelligence and extraordinarily good taste), the first of the series will be published! (on this site anyway).

So, here is "Quiddit" The concept was 'anything goes'...sort of a "Far Side" in multiple panels. Enjoy!

Where Excalibur Was Written
I had the great good fortune of working on Excalibur in an actual "woodshed" in our backyard. So, when I say "I need to shed that...", I mean it! Here are a couple of shots of the rugged work environment that brought forth the bone from the stone.

Hal Leonard Ad
This was an ad that I did for the very hip Hal Leonard Jazz Play Along Series (which I highly recommend!).
